I am watching NCAA teams practice and heading to games before the Draft.

Is there a style of play or a personality you consider when drafting?
I look for the highly competitive players with multiple skills. Versatility is very important in Major League Lacrosse. This is an important draft to fill team needs in the 2019 season. Finding players who have developed loyalties to community-based teams is what we are looking for.
What would someone at the draft expect to hear?
That availability may play an extremely large part in this year's Draft.
Which college team do you think has the strongest senior class?
It's too early for me to tell. If I had to guess Denver and Duke

What do you think of the MLL Draft taking place at the NASCAR Hall of Fame this year?
I have never been to the NASCAR Hall of Fame, so I'm looking forward to it.
Where should the 2020 MLL Draft take place?
Vegas or Yankee Stadium
More About Bayhawks' Head Coach and General Manager Dave Cottle
Inducted into the IMLCA Hall of Fame (2017), US Lacrosse Hall of Fame for the Chesapeake Chapter (2016), the Loyola University Hall of Fame (2014), ACC Coach of the Year (2008), and the Salisbury University Hall of Fame (1989). As Head Coach at Loyola College (now Loyola University) from 1988 to 2001, Cottle led the team to 14 straight NCAA tournament appearances, including a pair of berths in the national semifinals, totaling 191 wins over 19 seasons. Cottle then went on to coach at the University of Maryland, yielding 99 wins and 8 consecutive NCAA tournament appearances.
With the Bayhawks, Cottle has held every title from Consultant (2010), President (2011-2012), Head Coach (2012-2015, 2018- ), and General Manager (2016- ). During his span as the Bayhawks Head Coach, the team has garnered more than 35 wins, went 4-1 in the playoffs, and brought home the MLL championship title in 2012 and 2013.

The Bayhawks are one of four current teams that have played in every Major League Lacrosse season since its formation in 2001. Major League Lacrosse is the premier professional outdoor lacrosse league in the world, comprised of the best athletes in their sport, and is focused on providing a family friendly sporting experience.
