The Chesapeake Bayhawks and Denver Outlaws continued to be active on the trade front on Monday afternoon as they swapped rookies Domenic Sebastiani and Brian Megill.
The announcement comes on the heels of the blockbuster trade executed on Friday that saw 2013 Championship MVP John Grant Jr., Mike Simon and a draft pick go to Denver in exchange for 2012 League MVP Brendan Mundorf.
Selected in the first round of the 2013 MLL Collegiate Draft (No. 7 overall), Megill appeared in 10 games for Denver, including the semifinal loss to the Charlotte Hounds at Championship Weekend. The young defenseman collected a total of 28 ground balls and contributed an assist during his tenure with the Outlaws.
Sebastiani was selected in the fourth round (No. 32 overall) of the 2013 Collegiate Draft and appeared in a total of six games for the Bayhawks, including the Championship Game that saw Chesapeake victorious over the Charlotte Hounds.
Denver also receives the Bayhawks natural first round selection (No. 8 overall) of the 2014 MLL Collegiate Draft which will be held in Philadelphia on Friday, January 10.
