COLUMBUS, Ohio (June 9, 2018) – After waiting out a lightning delay for more than two hours during halftime, the Chesapeake Bayhawks came away with a 15-12 win over the Ohio Machine on Saturday night at Fortress Obetz Field.
The Machine scored the last two goals of the second quarter and took a 7-6 advantage into the half prior to the weather delay.
With the scored knotted at 10-10 through three quarters, the Bayhawks started the fourth quarter with four straight goals and outscored Ohio 5-2 in the final frame.
The Bayhawks extended their winning streak to four games and the Machine have now lost each of their last four games.

- Josh Byrne led the Bayhawks with seven points (4 goals, 3 assists).
- Niko Amato made 19 saves on 31 shots on goal for his fourth win.
- Justin Guterding had a career-best five points with three goals and two assists in his second career game.
