Dallas Wins with Late-Rally in Season Finale

FRISCO, TX – The Dallas Rattlers scored two goals in the last 4:30 to secure a thrilling 14-13 win over the Florida Launch. Ned Crotty scored a two-point goal with 20 seconds remaining to secure the victory for Dallas.

Connor Buczek and Kieran McArdle each recorded three goals and two assists for the  Launch,  but wasn’t enough to secure an early 7-2 victory lead in the first period. Ned Crotty was the leader of the steady comeback, with four points in the game. 

Between the 3:25 point of the third period and the 6:36 period of the fourth period, the Dallas Rattlers scored seven unanswered goals and tied the game at 11. Despite two points by Buczek, Crotty and Rattlers preserved and completed the comeback.

The Florida Launch finished the year 5-9, while the Dallas Rattlers earned the regular season title with an 11-3 record and will face the New York Lizards in the opening round of MLL playoffs.
