Giving Thanks

March 17, 2016
In the first of a two-part installment, MLL's players tell us what they're most thankful for this holiday season:

“I am thankful for the Pacific Ocean, redwood trees, my life, rope swings, my aging dog Cinco, my sisters, burritos, my parents, my neighborhood, my friends, and my brother.” – Roy Lang, Ohio Machine

“This Thanksgiving I am most thankful for my friends and family. They would do anything for me and I would do anything for them.” – Chad Wiedmaier, Hamilton Nationals (@CWiedmaier)

“I am thankful for my unconditionally kind and selfish family and for all the people in my life who cared deeply enough to help me become the man I wanted to be.” – Cameron Lao-Gosney, Hamilton Nationals

“I am thankful for an amazing knee surgeon, PT group, and family, who helped me get back on the field this year.” – Greg Gurenlian, Long Island Lizards

“I am thankful for my freedom, health, friends, and family.” – David Earl, Hamilton Nationals (@DavidEarl33)

“I am thankful each year for good health, family, and friends. I continue to thank the Lord for providing me the opportunity to do what I love. I am also thankful for our veterans, both overseas and at home, who build our freedom platform.” – Paul Rabil, Boston Cannons (@PaulRabil)

“I am thankful for all of the men and women who serve our country and sacrifice their lives every day so that we can enjoy the freedoms we have. A special thanks to all of my former Army Lacrosse brothers who have been and are currently overseas fighting for our country and making it possible for all of us to do the things we love. It does not go unnoticed!” – Jeremy Boltus, Denver Outlaws (@J_Boltus2)

“I am thankful for a very supportive family and group of friends, and for the troops that keep our country safe. I am also honored and thankful to be part of such a great group of guys at the Cannons.”– Jake Beebe, Boston Cannons (@JakeBeeberFever)

“I'm thankful for my great family, friends, and students, and wish them all a healthy and happy holiday.  Be grateful!” – Eric Martin, Denver Outlaws (@GoldenStateLax)

"I couldn't be more thankful for my family, their support, and everything they've done for me to achieve the dreams and goals I've had both on and off the field. If I wasn't encouraged to pick up a stick at a young age and put everything I had into Lacrosse, my life would be on a very different path. Without them, I wouldn't have had the joy of playing the game that I love, which has ultimately shaped who I am today." – Chris Eck, Boston Cannons (ChrisEck24)
