Launch fly high in win over Outlaws

BOCA RATON, Fla. (May 6, 2018) – The Florida Launch started quickly, then shut out the Denver Outlaws in the fourth quarter to win 16-7. Kieran McArdle and Dylan Molloy tallied three goals each, while Ryan Drenner picked up four assists and a goal in the win.

Drenner got things going for the Launch, with two points in the first period, which helped the Launch take an early 4-1 lead. Cam Milligan and Shawn Evans helped cut the deficit to 5-3, but then Drenner and Dylan Molloy responded at the end of the second period.

An even four goals apiece in the third period set up an intriguing finish, but the Launch locked down defensively. McArdle and Nick Mariano each tallied two goals and outscored the Outlaws 5-0 in the fourth to secure the win. 

Austin Kaut recorded 21 saves on 28 shots for the Launch, while Jack Kelly allowed 16 goals on 41 shots for the Outlaws.

- Ryan Drenner had a career-high five points with a goal and four assists. 
- Dylan Molloy recorded his first hat trick of the season. 
- Kieran McArdle (3 goals, assist) and Nick Mariano (2 goals, assist) combined for seven points. 
- Jeremy Sieverts had a team-high two goals.
