Max Seibald: MLL All-Star...and Tech Entrepreneur?

March 17, 2016
Major League Lacrosse’s Max Seibald, a midfielder for the Long Island Lizards, always pushes his game to the limit – this time in business.  He has landed an advisory role with the new sports social platform, QFive (

This week, QFive released its free iPhone app where users can upload their own sports videos and share it to their athletic profiles.

Seibald sees this as the future of sports content consumption: “Between the web site and the mobile app, QFive is changing the way athletes, coaches, fans, and organizations create and share their media.  The best part about it is that the community is focused only on sports.  I feel comfortable in this environment because I can share my lacrosse journey and give back to the sport that has given me so much.”

The QFive network connects athletes, fans, coaches, and alumni to the sports, teams, and athletes they care about.  Though it’s only been in open beta for a couple months, thousands are already using it to discover the latest in lacrosse, find new training methods, highlight their ability, and communicate with their teams.

While Seibald continues to excel on the field professionally playing for Major League Lacrosse since 2009, QFive is just one example of how he excels off the field.  After graduating from Cornell, he also formed his own lacrosse camps company – Maximum Lacrosse and has several private endorsement deals.

You can check out and follow Seibald’s QFive profile here:
