BOSTON, Mass. – More than 150 athletes were drafted in the 2019 Major League Lacrosse Supplemental Draft, held on Wednesday, October 24th. This is the first of two Supplemental Drafts that will be held prior to the 2019 season.
“Our league has made a number of substantial changes to benefit the players over the past few months. This Supplemental Draft allows us to build the ranks of MLL,” said Alexander Brown, commissioner of MLL. “They join more than 120 players who have already signed to be a part of the 2019 season. We look forward to building another competitive season with these talented and passionate players on board.”
There were more than 1,600 players in the MLL player pool. Each of the nine MLL teams will be releasing additional details surrounding their Supplemental Draft selections and signings.
Players may still register for the second Supplemental Draft, which will be held in 2019.
