Outlaws sweep Hounds with 16-13 win

GAME RECAP
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (June 2, 2018) — The Denver Outlaws handed the Charlotte Hounds their first home loss of the season, and completed a season sweep against them, in a 16-13 win on Saturday night. 

Denver scored five of the first six goals of the game and Wes Berg had two goals in a 30-second span in the first quarter. 

Ryan Brown scored with just under six minutes left in regulation to cut Charlotte’s deficit to 14-13. The Outlaws would answer with goals from Eric Law and Chris Cloutier to close out the game.  

The Hounds started the season 4-0, but have now lost two of their last three, with both losses coming at the hands of the Outlaws.  

PLAYERS OF NOTE
- Eric Law was named Coca-Cola MVP with four goals for Denver. 
- Chris Cloutier contributed two goals and two assists and now has 12 points in the first two games of his career. 
- Matt Rambo recorded a hat trick and three assists, his second straight game with six points.  
- Ryan Brown matched his season high with four goals.
