The undefeated Denver Outlaws will begin their two game road trip to end the 2013 regular season when they travel to Shuart Stadium in Hempstead, N.Y., Sunday, August 4, to face the New York Lizards at 5 p.m. The game will be broadcast live nationally on CBS Sports Network.

Denver will look to stay perfect and make it 13-0 against New York who was eliminated by playoff contention.

The last time the two teams met, on July 4, the Lizards succumbed to a 16-7 win by the Outlaws. Second in points in the league Chris Bocklet led the Outlaws with five points (4g, 1a). Denver’s potent offense was also surged by rookie Eric Law with his two goals and two assists. Brendan Mundorf, Jeremy Sieverts, and Drew Snider also added three points. Jesse Schwartzman recorded 17 saves in between the pipes including 12 huge saves in the first quarter.

Rookie Rob Pannell led the Lizards with three goals while Stephen Mock added two of his own goals. Greg Gurenlian dominated the faceoff X winning 13 of 23 faceoffs and scooping up seven ground balls. 2012 Warrior Goalie of the year Drew Adams recorded 13 saves.

The Lizards are coming off of a five game losing streaks and with a surge in the offense and solid play by Drew Adams the Lizards will have a chance to upset the Outlaws and hand them their first loss of the season.

The Outlaws will next head to Hamilton to face the Nationals Saturday August 10, the game will be broadcast live nationally on CBS Sports Network at 3 p.m. The Lizards will host their last home when they take on Ohio at Shuart Stadium at 7:00pm, the game will be broadcast on
