Rattlers spoil Boston's home opener, 13-12

GAME RECAP
BOSTON (May 5, 2018) – In their home opener, the Boston Cannons dropped a 13-12 decision to the Dallas Rattlers on Saturday night, extending their losing streak to nine games dating back to last year. 

Trailing by five at the half, the Cannons put up eight points in the second half. Max Seibald scored a two-point goal with seven seconds left in regulation to cut the deficit to one, but the Rattlers were able to win the ensuing faceoff and run out the clock.

Jordan Wolf led the Rattlers with six points (3 goals, 3 assists) and assisted on Ty Thompson’s goal at 6:51 in the fourth quarter, which proved the game winner. 

The Rattlers improved to 3-1, while Boston fell to 0-3. 

PLAYERS OF NOTE
- Jordan Wolf was named the Coca-Cola MVP with three goals and three assists. He now has scored at least three goals in six straight regular season games dating back to last year. 
- Ty Thompson (3 goals) scored his second game-winning goal of the season. 
- James Pannell scored a career-high six goals for the Cannons. 
- Tyler Fiorito made his 2018 debut and had 14 saves on 27 shots.
