DELAWARE, Ohio - Attackman Brendan Mundorf scored all three of his goals in the first half and added three assists as the Denver Outlaws (4-2) used a strong first half effort to snap a two-game losing streak with a 16-8 Major League Lacrosse victory over the Ohio Machine at Selby Stadium on Saturday evening.

While the Machine snapped a two-game losing streak, the Machine lost its second straight game.

Led by a goal and an assist from Mundorf, the Outlaws sprinted out to a 6-0 lead in the first 17 minutes of the game. With 11:56 left in the first half, attackman Chazz Woodson snapped the Machine's drought by scoring an unassisted goal, but the Outlaws answered by scoring four straight goals to extend the advantage to 11-1.

With 50 seconds left in the second quarter, defenseman Kyle Hartzell scored an unassisted marker to trim the Machine's deficit to 11-2.

The Outlaws started the second half just like they did in the first half - by scoring four straight goals to increase the advantage to 15-2. Rookie attackman Chris Bocklet, who was making his MLL debut, scored all three of his goals during the run along with an assist.

Just under two minutes into the fourth quarter, attackman Connor Martin ended a nearly 17-minute scoring drought by scoring on an unassisted marker, which started a four-point run by the Machine to close the gap to 15-6.

Rookie midfielder Drew Snider stopped the Machine's run by scoring an unassisted goal with 8:25 left before the Machine tallied back-to-back goals to close the gap to 16-8.

While Mundorf paced the Outlaws with his six-point effort, Bocklet recorded the first "hat trick" of his career with three goals along with an assist.

Woodson led Ohio with two goals and two assists.
