BOSTON (June 13, 2018)– Florida Launch attackman Dylan Molloy was named the Warrior Offensive Player of the Week for Week 8. Molloy and the Launch snapped a four-game losing streak with a 20-18 win over the Lizards on Saturday.
Molloy, 22, set a new career high with eight points, including seven goals and one assist. He helped the Launch to an early lead with three goals in the first quarter, two coming in the first seven minutes of the game. New York went on a three-goal run in the fourth quarter to cut Florida’s lead to 18-16, but Molloy answered with the eventual game-winning goal at 5:44 in the fourth.
Since the Launch drafted Molloy with the first-overall pick in 2017, he has compiled 60 points (48 goals, 12 assists) in 16 career games. He has established new career highs in goals (27) and points (33) this year.
