What's Coming to All-Star: Skills Competition

March 18, 2016
The MLL Skills Competition is always a mainstay of halftime in the MLL All-Star Game and this year is no different. If you don’t have your tickets for the game yet you can get them HERE.

The Fastest Shot Competition will return again this year, in addition to a slightly altered Accuracy Contest. Whether you are attending the game or watching from home, you’ll want to pay attention to the action-packed halftime show.

The Fastest Shot Contest will feature four MLL players and one lucky fan attempting to shoot as hard as they can into the goal. Each player will have two shots, 10 yards from the goal line. The fastest shot wins; all shots must go in the net to count and bounce shots are not allowed. Our lucky MLL fan will be going up against MLL All-Stars: Jeremy Sieverts (Denver), Brett Schmidt (Charlotte), Justin Turri (Rochester), and Mike Manley (Rochester).

This year the Accuracy Contest will prove to be a challenge for even some of the league’s most talented players. Each player will have 30 seconds to hit up to seven total targets, 14 yards from the goal line. The four corner and two off-hip targets will be worth 1-point each. The seventh, smaller center crossbar target will be 3-points. Team USA players Jesse Schwartzman (Denver) and Marcus Holman (Ohio) and Team MLL players Logan Schuss (Ohio) and Joe Walters (Chesapeake) will be the four contestants competing for the Accuracy title.

The MLL All-Star Game is one of the most anticipated games of the year. Whether you’re rooting for the Team MLL or supporting the Red, White and Blue, you will be guaranteed to see an outstanding display of lacrosse. Tickets are on sale for the 2014 All-Star Game, which will take place on Thursday, June 26, at 7:30 p.m. ET at Harvard Stadium in Boston, MA. Tickets can be purchased at or by calling 617-746-9933.
