Major League Lacrosse held it's 10th annual Collegiate Draft on June 6th, 2010 at Yale University.

The Chicago Machine made Duke attackman Ned Crotty the No. 1 overall selection.  Crotty led his team to a National Championship on Memorial Day and finished the year with 22 goals and 63 assists for a total of 86 points.  

The Chesapeake Bayhawks picked midfielder Michael Kimmel at No. 2.   The Boston Cannons selected hometown hero Max Quinzani at No. 3 out of Duke.  Long Island picked at No. 4 and selected Duke defenseman Parker McGee.  That made three of the top four players selected all Blue Devils. 

Denver continued the defensive mindset at No. 5 when they picked up standout longpole Ken Clausen from Virginia.  Chesapeake was up again at No. 6 and selected midfielder Brian Carroll out of Virginia. 

The second round saw a lot more action as Toronto got busy with a couple of trades.  Toronto traded its No. 9 pick along with midfielder Josh Sims and goalie Doc Schneider to Chicago to move up to the No. 7 slot.  With that pick Toronto added Notre Dame standout goalie Scott Rodgers, who drove his stock up with a dominant performance in the NCAA tournament. 

Toronto then traded its No. 8 pick to Denver for the No. 10 and No. 17 overall selections.  Denver added UNC midfielder Sean Delaney at No. 8. 

With the No. 9 selection Chicago picked up Martin Cahill, a midfielder out of Delaware. 

At No. 10 Toronto surprised no one when it picked Ontario native Cody Jamieson out of Syracuse.   Denver took the first faceoff specialist of the night at No. 11 in Andrew Hennessy from Bryant.  Boston capped off the second round when  attackman Steven Boyle was selected at No. 12 overall out of Johns Hopkins.
