Bayhawks at Cannons 2018

HINGHAM, Mass. (May 19, 2018) – The Chesapeake Bayhawks scored six goals in the fourth quarter for a 14-11 win over the Boston Cannons on Saturday night at Hingham High School. 
Chesapeake trailed Boston 8-4 at the half, but started the third quarter with three straight goals. 

Zed Williams gave the Cannons an 11-8 lead 44 seconds into the fourth quarter, but the Bayhawks then responded with the final six goals of the game, including two from Myles Jones. 

The Bayhawks improved to 3-2 on the season while Boston fell to 1-5. The game was played at Hingham High School as the first game in the “Cannons in your community” promotion this season. 


- Myles Jones was the Coca-Cola MVP with a season-high five goals. It marked his third straight game with at least five points. 
- Colin Heacock, Matt Abbott and Steele Stanwick all scored two goals for the Bayhawks.
- James Pannell scored a team-high four goals for Boston. 
- In his Boston debut, Zed Williams finished the night with three points (goal, 2 assists). He was the only Cannons player to score in the fourth quarter.
