Cannons at Launch 2018


BOCA RATON, Fla (May 10, 2018) – The Boston Cannons snapped a nine-game losing streak dating back to 2017 with a 15-9 win against the Florida Launch on Thursday night at FAU stadium. 

Max Seibald led all scorers for the Cannons with four goals, including two two-point goals. The Cannons utilized a 7-0 run in the second quarter to build their lead over the Launch. 

The Launch narrowed the lead to three goals after Dylan Molloy scored twice, making the score 9-6 with 10:55 remaining in the third quarter.

Seibald’s second two-pointer of the night came with just over 10 minutes remaining in the fourth and gave the Cannons a 13-8 edge. 

Molloy, Kieran McArdle, Nick Mariano and Sergio Salcido all contributed with two goals apiece for the Launch. 

- Max Seibald was named the Coca-Cola MVP (4 goals, 2 2-point goals). He now is one shy of 30 two-point goals in his career. 
- Justin Turri finished with four goals, including a two-point goal.
- Former Bucknell attackman Will Sands contributed three goals in the first MLL game of his career for the Cannons. 
- Dylan Molloy (2 goals) scored multiple goals for the fourth time this season.
