Hounds at Outlaws 2018


GAME RECAP
DENVER (May 19, 2018) – In his professional debut, Chris Cloutier had eight points to lead the Denver Outlaws to a 17-13 win over the Charlotte Hounds on Saturday night. 

Drafted in the fourth round of the 2018 Collegiate Draft from UNC, Cloutier registered a hat trick in the first five minutes of the game, helping Denver start the game on a 4-0 run.

After a five-goal run, the Hounds cut the deficit to 8-7 with a goal from John Crawley at 6:14 in the third, but the Outlaws responded with five straight of their own, including two more from Cloutier. 

The loss was Charlotte’s first of the season after starting 4-0 for the first time in franchise history. 

PLAYERS OF NOTE
- Chris Cloutier was the Coca Cola MVP with six goals and two assists in his MLL debut. 
- Eric Law scored a season-high five goals. 
- Kevin Cooper had three goals and an assist for Charlotte. 
- Joe McCallion (2 goals, assist) and John Haus (2 goals, 2 assists) combined for seven points.
