Machine at Rattlers 2018

DALLAS (June 17, 2018) ā€“ Trailing by three goals entering the fourth quarter, the Rattlers outscored the Machine 4-0 in the final quarter to come away with a 17-16 win at Ford Center at The Star on Sunday night.

Playing in the first game of his MLL career, Ben Reeves scored the game-tying goal at 7:15 in the fourth quarter. Four minutes later, Ty Thompson netted the game-winning goal, his third game winner this season. 

Ohio built their lead off a five-goal run in the third quarter that included three goals from Marcus Holman in a five-minute span. 

It marked the fourth straight win for the Rattlers and they improved to 4-0 at home this season. The Machine fell to 0-5 in their last five games. 

- Jordan Wolf had a team-high five points (2 goals, 3 assists), his third straight five-point game. 
- Ben Reeves scored two goals in his first career game for the Rattlers. 
- Matt Dunn had a career-high three points with two goals, including a two-point goal. 
- Marcus Holman had a game-high nine points with six goals and three assists. He became the first Ohio player to ever record multiple games with at least six goals in a single season.
