Outlaws at Machine 2018


GAME RECAP
COLUMBUS, Ohio (June 23, 2018) – Reigning Cascade Rookie of the Week Chris Cloutier scored a game-high six goals as the Denver Outlaws beat the Ohio Machine, 17-12, on Saturday night at Fortress Obetz Field. 

The loss was Ohio’s sixth straight and it completed the season sweep for the Outlaws. 

The Outlaws and Machine traded goals for much of the first half, the only differential being Mikie Schlosser scoring three straight goals for the Outlaws. Going into the half, Denver held the lead, 9-7.
 
The Outlaws did not let up in the second half, with Chris Cloutier scoring four of his six goals in the second half. The Machine closed the gap to four points on a two-point goal from Marcus Holman with just over a minute remaining, but Cloutier answered again with the final goal of the game. 

PLAYERS OF NOTE 
- Chris Cloutier matched his career high with six goals.   
- Mikie Schlosser had a hat-trick for the Outlaws, his third of the season.
- Peter Baum led the Machine in goals with four.
- Marcus Holman had a team-high six points (3 goals, 2 assists, 1 2-pt goal). He now has a total of 16 points over his last two games.
