Rattlers at Blaze 2018


GAME RECAP
KENNESAW, Ga. (June 23, 2018) – The Dallas Rattlers extended their winning streak to five games with a 16-14 win over the Atlanta Blaze on Saturday night at Fifth Third Bank Stadium. 

Dallas built an 11-4 lead by the midway point of the second quarter, but the Blaze answered back by scoring seven of the next eight goals to make the score 12-11 at the end of the third quarter. 

John Ranagan netted a two-point goal four minutes into the fourth quarter and goals from Ned Crotty and Ryan McNamara in the final frame helped to seal the win.  

The loss was Atlanta’s fifth straight and they fell to 3-6 on the season. 

PLAYERS OF NOTE
- John Ranagan finished with a season-high six points with five goals, including a two-pointer. 
- Jordan Wolf (3 goals, 3 assists) recorded his 4th straight game with at least five points. 
- Connor Kelly set a new career high in goals (4) and scored the first two-point goal of his career. 
- Deemer Class and Matt Gibson each scored two goals for the Blaze.
