The Big Picture: The Boston Cannons host the Ohio Machine on Saturday, August 4th at 7 p.m. ET. Last week the Machine (2-10), who were eliminated from playoff contention in Week 11, were narrowly defeated by the Rochester Rattlers, 14-13. However, the Cannons (7-5) kept pace with the Rattlers for the fourth and final playoff spot with a 16-13 victory over the top-seeded Bayhawks. With only two games remaining, the Cannons must finish strong if they hope to play at home in Boston during Championship Weekend.

The Big Picture: The Long Island Lizards will travel down to Annapolis for a matchup with the first-place Bayhawks. Chesapeake has already locked down a playoff spot, while the Lizards look to keep their one-game advantage over Boston and Rochester as the regular season winds down.
These two teams met on the opening weekend of the season, with Chesapeake taking a 13-11 decision on Long Island. However, the young Lizards are a far different team than they were at the start of the season, and still battling for a playoff spot, they should be the more motivated team. Read More
The Big Picture: The Rochester Rattlers host the Denver Outlaws on Saturday, August 4th at 7 p.m. ET. Last week the Rattlers (7-5), who are still in the playoff hunt, pulled off a win over the Ohio Machine, 14-13. The Outlaws (9-2) were able to defeat the Nationals 21-12 to tie the Chesapeake Bayhawks for 1st in the league. With only two games remaining, the Outlaws must win these games to have hopes of playing at Championship Weekend in Boston.
This is the second matchup between the Rochester Rattlers and Denver Outlaws. In the first game on June 16th, the Outlaws beat the Rattlers 16-12 in Denver, Colorado. Read More
