There were plenty of memorable performances in the 2013 MLL season. As the 2013 calendar year comes to a close, we decided to look back and count down the Top 13 performances of 2013. At #12:
Galloway stops 25
Date: 6/15 vs. Ohio
The Rattlers lost this game, giving Ohio its first win of the season, but it was in no way Galloway’s fault. He set the club record and personal record by making 25 saves while only allowing 13 goals. This was a game where Rochester was thoroughly outplayed and it could have been much worse if Galloway hadn’t made some incredible stops.
The rest of 2013: His performance against Ohio actually gave Galloway back-to-back games with 20+ stops. The week before, he made 23 saves in a 15-13 win against Boston. His 11.97 goals against average ranked third in the league, only behind record-breakers Jesse Schwartzman and Kip Turner.
