CAREER
As a National:
Hamilton Nationals’ first-round selection (fifth overall) in the 2013 Major League Lacrosse Collegiate Draft.

College/Amateur: Played his college lacrosse at Loyola… In 2013, he was named to the Preseason All-America First Team by Inside Lacrosse's Face-Off Yearbook… In 2012, he earned USILA All-American Honorable Mention and was named to the NCAA All-Tournament Team as Loyola captured the NCAA Championship… Played in 15 games and finished second on the team with 63 ground balls... Also scored six goals and had two assists... Finished the NCAA Championship Game (5/28) with two ground balls and two caused turnovers... In 2011, he played in all 13 games as a sophomore, scoring three goals and dishing out three assists for six points... Ranked second on the team with 53 ground balls... Totaled six or more ground balls six times... Had a career-high nine ground ball against Denver (3/16)... Preseason All-ECAC… In 2010, Hawkins established himself as a top defensive midfielder as a freshman, collecting 31 ground balls, six goals and two assists… Scored twice and had two ground balls in a First Round NCAA Playoff Game against Cornell (5/15)… While in high school at Amherst, he scored 153 goals and assisted on 73 others... Earned All-Western Massachusetts First Team honors twice, and he helped Deerfield win two WELL titles.
