As a National:
Hamilton Nationals’ third-round selection (21st overall) in the 2013 Major League Lacrosse Collegiate Draft.

College/Amateur: Played his college lacrosse at West Point… Served as a tri-captain in 2013 for Army... Named an All-American for the third straight season (Honorable Mention), having been named a third team honoree in 2012 and an Honorable Mention All-American in 2011… Won two team awards in 2013, earning the the Lt. Ray Enners/Chris Pettit Memorial Award as the team’s Top Offensive Player and the Jack Emmer "Nutcracker" Award as the team's Most Physical Player… In 2013, he became Army's career leader in goals (163) and finished second on the Patriot League's all-time goals list… The three-time Patriot League First Teamer achieved a first at West Point, becoming the only player in team history to record three 40-goal seasons (2010, 2011 and 2013)… In 2013, he netted 41 goals (2.93 per game) to lead the league and rank seventh in the nation… Reached career highs in goals (seven) and points (eight) in two games this season - wins over VMI and Michigan... His seven-goal effort against the Wolverines made him the program's career goals leader and earned him Orange Bowl Lacrosse Classic Most Valuable Player honors… Thul was a two-time Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week in 2013… Was a Preseason All-Patriot League pick and a Preseason All-American… In 2012, he was named a Third Team All-America selection... First Team All-Patriot League... Face-Off Yearbook Third Team Preseason All-American... Was a Top 25 finalist for the 2012 Tewaaraton Trophy Award… Nation's 13th-leading goal scorer averaging 2.6 goals per game... Ranked second amongst all goal-scorers in the Patriot League... Finished the year just one goal shy of becoming the first player in Army history to reach 40 goals in three different seasons… Became the ninth player in Army's 95-year history to reach the 100-goal mark in a 9-8 win over Rutgers... Presented with the team's Lt. Ray Enners Memorial Award as the team's top offensive player... Also named the Jack Emmer "Nutcracker" Award winner as the team's most physical player for the third-straight season… In 2011, he was an Honorable Mention All-American and a First Team All-Patriot League attackman... Top 25 finalist for the 2011 Tewaaraton Trophy Award… Led the team with 42 goals… His 2.80 goals per game led the Patriot League and ranked third in the nation… In 2010, he earned national Rookie of the Year recognition from Inside Lacrosse Magazine...
