Major League Lacrosse (MLL), the premier professional outdoor lacrosse league, held the 2011 Supplemental Draft on Tuesday, December 14th, 2010 via conference call.
Each team made 12 selections beginning with Toronto taking Kyle Rubisch defense. The rest of the first round went as follows: Rochester picked midfielder Dan Groot, Denver chose midfielder Terry Kimener, Boston took midfielder James Morrisey, Long Island picked attack Craig Dowd and Chesapeake used their pick on veteran defender Ryan McClay.

Beginning on Thursday December 16th, at 9:00 AM ET, teams may begin to claim remaining players to fill out their 40-man active preseason roster.
Major League Lacrosse will hold its 2011 Collegiate Draft on Friday, January 21st at 8:30 PM ET in Baltimore, Maryland.

Major League Lacrosse’s 2011 All Star Game will take place on July 9 at Harvard Stadium in Boston. The 2011 MLL Championship Weekend, presented by Warrior, is scheduled for August 27 & 28 at Navy-Marine Corps Stadium in Annapolis, MD.
