GLORY HOUND LACROSSE IS ANNOUNCED AS OFFICIAL ENGRAVED BALLS OF THE MLL
Wednesday, July 6, 2011 (Boston, MA)- Glory Hound Lacrosse has been chosen by Major League Lacrosse as an officially licensed producer of engraved balls to support MLL teams and events. Glory Hound has introduced balls for each of the MLL teams and will have a limited edition ball available for the 2011 Sports Authority MLL All-Star game this weekend in Boston, July 8-9th.
“This is a tremendous opportunity for us to support the professional level of the sport,” says Derek Craig of Glory Hound Lacrosse. “The pro players provide inspiration for younger players across the country, which is vital to the successful growth of the sport. These balls are perfect for autographs at games and fan collections or, because they’re regulation balls, players can even use them for wall ball.”
“Glory Hound Lacrosse has the best quality we’ve seen for engraved souvenir balls and we’re excited to partner with them to bring MLL fans another keepsake item featuring their favorite teams and MLL special events like our 2011 All-Star game,“ said MLL’s Sponsorship Fulfillment and Intellectual Property Manager, Kerry Pucillo. “Our new souvenir balls are great for gifts and for a memorable item to feature those coveted player autographs at MLL events. At $10 and under, it’s an affordable way for parents to be able to purchase a cool team branded item their kids will love.”
Glory Hound makes custom engraved awards and gifts designed exclusively for the lacrosse market, with a product line that includes custom engraved balls and display cases. Exclusive engraved wood shafts are designed especially for display, as well as a new series of custom engraved wood frames.
“We’ve become a favorite for team awards, MVP trophies and VIP recognition gifts for youth, high school and college teams across the country. We have also been featured at national events including the Warrior 40 and the NCAA finals,” continues Craig. “Players love the products because they’re designed for lacrosse – not generic plastic trophies that could be used for other sports. It’s a natural progression to provide them for MLL fans and teams as well.
