“Brine is all about cutting edge technology in their products and giving lacrosse players the opportunity to compete at the top of their game” said Crotty.  “I have used Brine throughout my collegiate career at Duke and am fortunate to have the distinct advantage of continuing that run in both the MLL and FIL World Lacrosse Championships with Team USA.  I have used the product for as far back as I can remember and am excited to be able to be brought into the Brine family” he said.

Capping an accomplished NCAA career, Ned’s 2010 campaign marked his 3rd All-America selection and a single season Duke assist record of 63 (86 total points).  He was the Turnbull award winner as the Division I attackman of the year a remarkable three times. Adding to his historic achievements in 2010, Crotty was named to the 23 man roster of Team USA that will compete in the FIL World Championship in Manchester, England. Ned was the only college player to earn such an honor.  In the pro’s Crotty made an immediate impact earning Rookie of the Week accolades in just his third MLL game. Ned tallied 2 goals and 3 assists in a June 25 win over the Denver Outlaws.

Ned attended Delbarton High School where he was a star in more than one sport. His senior year he was an All American in Hockey and lacrosse which had never been done before in the state of New Jersey. When you look at his background as a player his resume’ is off the charts, and when talk to him for five minutes you know what kind of extraordinary person he is. He is the perfect guy to carry the torch of a lacrosse brand with a rich history of innovation, competition, and class.
