Cobb County Classic at Fifth Third Bank Stadium March 8

March 18, 2016
Fifth Third bank Stadium and LB3 Lacrosse will host the Cobb County Classic on March 8, when the St. John’s Red Storm take on the Syracuse Orange in Kennesaw, Ga. Tickets for the event can be found by visiting or by clicking here.

The stadium, on the campus of Kennesaw State University, will also host the 2014 MLL Championship Game on August 23. The move to a single championship game was made to allow the teams with the best records to host their own semifinal match at home giving them a true home field advantage in the playoffs.  More information on the Championship Game can be found here.

Fans in attendance at the Cobb County Classic will also have the opportunity to purchase tickets for the MLL Championship Game on site.

Several current and past MLL players will be on hand over the weekend greeting fans and providing clinics.

Greg Gurenlian (New York Lizards), Chris Mattes (Boston Cannons) and Jerry Ragonese (New York Lizards) of the Face-Off Academy are just some of the players that will be in attendance over the weekend which include Rochester’s Stephen Ianzito and Charlotte’s Kevin Drew.

On Friday, March 7, the Face-Off Academy will work with youth players ranging from third through eighth grade from 6:00 pm to 9:00 p.m. On Saturday, March 8, the Academy will work with high school players from 11:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fans can register for the camp here.
