ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Led by five goals and an assist from midfielder Jordan MacIntosh, the Rochester Rattlers (3-4) snapped a two-game losing streak by earning a 17-10 Major League Lacrosse victory over the Hamilton Nationals (2-5) at Sahlen's Stadium on Saturday evening.
MacIntosh, who earned Bud Light MLL Player of the Game honors, had scored just four goals in his previous four games this season before his six-point performance against the Nationals.
After midfielder Kevin Crowley gave Hamilton a 1-0 lead just over three minutes into the first quarter, the Rattlers answered by scoring three straight goals over a three-minute span to take a 3-1 edge.
The teams traded goals twice before the Rattlers increased their lead to 8-3 as MacIntosh and midfielder Matt Striebel scored back-to-back markers. But, Hamilton closed the gap to 10-8 later in the third quarter with three consecutive goals, including a two-point marker from midfielder Joe Walters.

While MacIntosh led Rochester with his six-point effort, attackman Kevin Leveille added three goals with an assist for the Rattlers, who were outshot by a 35-34 margin.
Walters led the Nationals in a losing effort by scoring three goals, including a two-point marker, with three assists while Crowley and midfielder Stephen Keogh tallied two goals each.
