The draft will consist of 12 rounds as teams build their preseason rosters up to a maximum of 40 players. Over 800 players are available in the Player Pool including notable names such as 2010 United States National Team midfielder Chris Schiller and 2009 MLL Rookie of the Year Dan Hardy.

After winning back-to-back NCAA Championships in 2008 and 2009 with Syracuse University, Hardy was selected by the Denver Outlaws in the 2009 MLL Collegiate Draft, earning Rookie of the Year honors at the end of the season. While in Denver, he appeared in 20 games recording 23 goals and 22 assists over two seasons.
