Take a Shot is the remarkable story of the birth of Major League Lacrosse by Jake Steinfeld and Dave Morrow is not only a tale laced with Jake's signature “Don’t Quit” mantra, it reveals the challenges and hilarity that ensued on the road to founding the first outdoor professional lacrosse league.
Books will be on sale during Championship Weekend. Visit the Harvard Coop table inside the gates near the merchandise tents on Saturday 8/25 in between the semi-finals and then Harvard Coop will be outside in the fanzone on Sunday 8/26 prior to the Championship Finals. Jake and Dave will be signing books during these times.
MetroLacrosse is a non-profit organization that promotes positive youth development and access to educational opportunities through the sport of lacrosse. The program serves more than 700 young people in Boston and Chelsea throughout the year, as well as 200 participants through national summer programs, and is the largest urban lacrosse and education program in the country.
