Major League Lacrosse, the premier professional outdoor lacrosse league, announced today that Tommy Palasek has been added to the roster for the 2013 All-Star Game presented by Moe’s Southwest Grill. He will be taking Drew Westervelt’s place.
Palasek has tallied 14 goals and four assists this season, including a five-point game against Boston in New York’s season opener. He leads the Lizards in points and goals scored. Palasek is tied for 14th in the League for goals, and his 18 points are tied for 18th-most in the League.
This will be Palasek’s first All-Star Game appearance. He will be joining fellow Lizards attackman Rob Pannell as well as teammates Drew Adams, Greg Gurenlian and Brian Karalunas. Palasek, a collegiate standout at Syracuse is one of six members of the 2012 draft class in the All-Star Game.
The MLL All-Star Game, presented by Moe’s Southwest Grill, takes place on Saturday, July 13, at 7:00 pm in Charlotte, N.C., at American Legion Memorial Stadium, and will be broadcast live on ESPN2.
