BALTIMORE (May 19, 2017) -- Myles Jones scored the eventual game-winning goal late in the third quarter, helping the Bayhawks to a 13-11 win over the Blaze at Homewood Field in Baltimore on Friday night. The win marked Chesapeake's third straight after falling in the season opener.
Shawn Evans earned Coca-Cola player of the Game in his first career MLL game. The Canadian attackman tallied three goals and three assists in his Bayhawks debut, which was his first outdoor lacrosse game in over a decade.
Atlanta built a 5-1 lead in the first quarter, but saw that lead evaporate by the midpoint of the second quarter thanks to a four-goal run that saw Evans strike twice.

Shawn Evans had six points (3 goals, 3 assists) in his first career MLL game, earning Coca-Cola Player of the Game.
Nathan Lewnes had a hat trick for Chesapeake, his third three-goal performance in four games this season. He leads all Bayhawks players with 11 goals on the season.
Chris Bocklet had two goals and two assists for the Blaze.
Bailey Tills scored twice in his Atlanta debut.
