ANNAPOLIS, Md. (June 2, 2017) -- After a 19-goal outburst last week, the Ohio Machine put up 18 goals in an 18-11 win against the Chesapeake Bayhawks on Friday night. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Chesapeake.
The Machine held a three-goal lead at the half, but pulled away in a five-goal third quarter that saw Marcus Holman score twice.
Appearing in his first professional game, Bayhawks faceoff specialist Ben Williams went 23-for-32 (72%) at the faceoff X. Chesapeake just drafted him in the fifth round of last week's Collegiate Draft out of Syracuse.
The Machine have now won two straight games following a two-game losing streak.
