Warren, Mich. - Chesapeake Bayhawks attackman Ben Rubeor has officially signed on with Brine lacrosse to be a sponsored athlete on Team Elite. This season for the Bayhawks, Rubeor netted 30 goals and accrued 41 points – second most on the team. Rubeor and the Bayhawks will compete at Championship Weekend, presented by Smartlink on Saturday and Sunday in Chester, Pa., to try and retain their title as MLL Champions.
“The great thing about Ben is he doesn’t just excel at a major league level, but he also uses his knowledge and skills to grow the game with the next generation of players,” stated Brine’s Marketing Manager Mike Rabinovitz. Ben is currently the head coach at St. Mary’s Annapolis high school, one of the premier lacrosse programs in the country. He also serves as offensive coordinator at Maclay School in Tallahassee, Florida.
“I love coaching the game as much as I love playing it, and I’m excited to be working with Brine to help spread the knowledge and passion of the game to players of all levels,” Rubeor added.
